We are delighted to announce, the AEGIS Board of Directors has approved increases to our Excess Liability, Conventional Property and Renewables Property credits, enhanced our Loyalty Credits, and added two new Loss Control credits. Our estimated declared credits have increased from $101M to $133M or 33%.

Details on the 2025–2026 premium credit program are as follows:

  • Product Credit:
    • Excess Liability increased by 10% from $30M to $33M
    • Conventional Property increased by 25% from $16M to $20M
    • Renewable Property increased by 25% from $4M to $5M
    • All other product credit amounts will stay the same
  • Enhanced Loyalty Credit:
    • Expanded Loyalty Credit with lower qualifying threshold of 3 vs 4 products and higher additional % from max of 40% to 55%:
      • Loyalty I – 3 of 8 products – 10%
      • Loyalty II – 4 of 8 products – additional 20% (total 30% for I and II)
      • Loyalty III – 5 of 8 products – additional 25% (total 55% for I, II and III)
    • Changed eligibility requirements:
      • Cyber – 80% of Lead Layer or $50M in AEGIS limits
      • Renewable Property – 25% layer OR $250,000 in GWP
      • Renewables Property – expanded to include Master Builder’s risk policies
  • Added two NEW Loss Control Credits:
    • Cyber – flat $50,000 to offset approved mitigation efforts
    • Property – equal to AEGIS Loss Control fees to apply towards loss control recommendations

These credit programs set AEGIS apart from the commercial market because they allow members to share in the positive financial results of the company. This marks the tenth consecutive year of credit increases, with $1.9 billion paid to policyholders since the inception of these programs. We are happy to recognize the loyalty of our members with these additional credits and look forward to even higher levels of participation in the future.

Premium credits for individual products are paid in the form of a credit against premiums for future policy renewals. The credit letters for individual products will be e-mailed to members and their brokers from the AEGIScredits@aegislimited.com address the week of June 9. The Member Loyalty and Loss Control credit letters will be e-mailed to members the week of June 23. Additional information regarding the Loss Control credit and eligibility will follow. Member loyalty credits and Loss Control credits are paid via wire transfer.
