Sandra joined AEGIS in 2021 as Senior Workers’ Compensation Specialist in the Claims Division. Prior to AEGIS, Sandra worked at Gallagher Bassett Services as Claims Adjuster – Workers’ Compensation; at Broadspire as Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner and Workers’ Compensation Team Manager; and at Frank Gates Acclaim, Inc. as Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Claims Sr. Claims Examiner.
Matthew joined AEGIS in January 2022 as Senior Machinery Loss Control Professional in the Loss Control Division. Prior to AEGIS, Matthew worked at Oglethorpe Power Corp as Maintenance Manager; at Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia as Owners Representative/Principal Engineer; at Celanese Corp as Mechanical Reliability Engineer; and at NextEra Energy Resources as Principal Engineer. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA.
Stephane joined AEGIS in 2021 as Senior Machinery Loss Control Professional in the Loss Control Division. Prior to AEGIS, Stephane worked at GE Power as Core Services Leader – Americas, Lead Project Management Specialist, and Engineering Manager; and at Alstom Power Services as Engineering Manager and Commissioning Lead Engineer. Stephane earned his Master in Engineering from INSA Lyon in Villeurbanne, France.
Gina joined AEGIS in January 2022 as Underwriting Officer in the Underwriting Division. Prior to AEGIS, Gina worked at Chubb in various positions, most recently AVP Southwest Region Underwriting Manager; and at The Republic Group as Commercial Lines Underwriter and Commercial Lines Claims Adjuster. Gina earned her Bachelor in Business Administration from University of North Texas in Denton, TX.
Smitha joined AEGIS in 2008 and held various positions within the Underwriting Division. Smitha started her Insurance career working in the Commercial Lines Information Division at Insurance Services Office (ISO). Prior to rejoining AEGIS in 2022 as Vice President, Excess Liability in the Underwriting Division, she held the position of Senior Vice President, Energy Group at Stephens Insurance for two years.
Smitha has acquired many designations during her career; most notably the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management-Enterprise Risk Management (ARM-E). Smitha graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management Information Systems and Marketing and earned a Master of Science in Information Systems degree from Stevens Institute of Technology New Jersey with a concentration in the Financial Services Industry. She is also a licensed New Jersey Property, Casualty and Surplus Lines Producer.
Justin joined AEGIS in January 2022 as Vice President, Property Underwriting in the Underwriting Division. Prior to AEGIS, Justin worked at Starr Technical Risks Agency, Inc. as Assistant Regional Manager, Senior Underwriter and Underwriter; and at Chubb as Underwriter Trainee. Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL.
