AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, AEGIS Position on Lithium-ion Battery Energy Storage Systems (Li-ion BESS) Risk and Insurance Considerations, on Wednesday, November 6, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT.
Join us as we discuss the increasingly important role of Li-ion BESS and the importance of staying on top of the latest risk mitigation strategies, rapidly evolving technology and ensuing safety codes.
Who Should Attend
Risk Management, project development and management, and power plant employees, as well as individuals engaged in the evolving renewable energy efforts would benefit from attending this webinar on the risk and insurance considerations for Li-ion BESS.
What is Covered
Large-scale lithium-ion battery energy storage systems are constantly evolving and continue to drive a series of ongoing improvements and modifications to the NFPA 855 – Standard for the Installation of Stationary Energy Storage Systems, International Fire Code (IFC), state codes and lessons learned.
In this webinar, we will review the hazards associated with Li-ion BESS. We will cover past and recent events, current codes and standards, fire testing, mitigation strategies, emergency planning and insurance loss control perspectives.
