AEGIS will be offering a limited number of seats for the popular Loss Control Fire Protection Training Class, which will be held Tuesday, October 15, through Thursday, October 17, at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater.

This joint AEGIS Loss Control/OSU three-day training class is geared toward employees responsible for inspection, testing or maintenance of fire protection systems or for those managing 3rd parties who perform this work. AEGIS member company employees will receive both classroom and hands-on instruction on the various types of fire protection systems associated with power generation and natural gas midstream operations. In addition to traditional classroom instruction and practical exercises, attendees are encouraged to participate in the hands-on training sessions to become familiar with the fire protection/equipment that’s typically used in the power generation and natural gas industry. Casual dress is recommended for the hands-on training sessions.

We are offering a discounted registration fee of $400 for employees of AEGIS member companies who register by July 1, 2024. After this date, the fee will increase to $600. This fee includes the cost of the three-day training class, a copy of NFPA 25 (Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of WaterBased Fire Protection Systems code book), the AEGIS-sponsored group dinners, as well as lunch each day. You will be asked to provide your credit card information during the registration process. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted.
If you must cancel your registration prior to the class, please cancel no later than September 12. The class fee, minus an administrative fee of $25, will be refunded to your credit card.
A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the Residence Inn by Marriott Stillwater. The room block is being managed by AEGIS Loss Control. The group rate of $107 plus tax per night includes complimentary wireless access, daily complimentary hot breakfast and lunch, and shuttle service between OSU and the hotel.
