Highlights of the conference include:
Keynote Address – We are excited to host a Q&A-style keynote address between Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State (2018 to 2021), Director of the CIA (2017-2018) under the Trump administration and Member of the House of Representatives (2011-2017); and former Associated Press Chief White House Correspondent, author and communications strategist, Ben Feller.
2024 Management Report – Our opportunity to highlight the many ways in which AEGIS has helped members respond to challenging conditions and severe market constrictions by providing stable capacity and coverage, new products and loss control programs, and trusted claims support to help manage risk.
Industry Updates – Sean Kevelighan, President & CEO of The Insurance Information Institute, will discuss current economic and insurance market conditions. AEGIS staff and outside counsel will also provide an overview of recent claims litigation trends.
Individualized Meetings – AEGIS Staff will be available to meet with members on Monday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 16.
Wednesday Night Reception – We take over Grouse Mountain, the highest peak in Vancouver, where we'll take a Skyride, ascending 2,800 ft above the Douglas firs. Once we reach the top, we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver and the Pacific Ocean while having a fun evening filled with live music and entertainment.
Wednesday and Thursday Tours – We have an exciting schedule of tours on Wednesday and Thursday, showcasing the best of the Vancouver area in the summer.
Whether your idea of exploring takes place on land, by sea or in the sky, hiking or biking, eating or observing, or simply seeing Vancouver by bus, boat or seaplane, we have you covered. This year’s tours include viewing the rainforest on a walk across a suspension bridge or on Bowen Island, exploring the Vancouver coastline by kayak, boat or bike, visiting the aquarium, museums and downtown neighborhoods, sampling local cuisine at Granville Island Market, and taking in the stunning views of the Vancouver cityscape, Stanley Park and the harbor by seaplane. With eleven exciting tour options, there is truly something for everyone!
Thursday Night Reception – We will cap off our time together with a casual farewell reception on Thursday at the hotel, where we will toast to a busy and successful conference week.
