AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, Battery Energy Storage Systems Update, on November 1 at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
Who Should Attend
Power plant employees and individuals engaged in renewable energy efforts would benefit from attending this webinar on the latest developments of renewable and sustainable production, as the electric generation industry continues to evolve.
What is Covered
Large-scale battery energy storage systems are constantly evolving and continue to drive a series of ongoing improvements and modifications to the NFPA 855, Standard for the Installation of Stationary Energy Storage Systems, International Fire Code (IFC), state codes and Lessons Learned.
In this webinar, we will discuss changes in code requirements that have taken place since the last AEGIS Loss Control BESS webinar, as well as the recent advancements in battery storage technology. Additionally, we will also review current approaches and modifications in managing large-scale battery failures and fires. As the industry continues to grow and develop projectable data and codes, this presentation will draw from recent tests, including real-life experiences with fire detection and suppression systems, and updates on explosion hazards.
