AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, Natural Gas Leak Survey – The Emergence of Drone Technology, on October 5 at 2:00 pm EDT.
Who should attend
Utility employees responsible for performing, managing, or evaluating new technology for leak surveys and patrolling are strongly encouraged to participate in this webinar.
What is covered
Employees tasked with performing pipeline leak surveys and patrolling understand the day-to-day challenges presented when faced with difficult terrain and/or circumstances. This one-hour training webinar provides an overview of the deployment of ABB’s HoverGuard drone-based leak survey technology. This technology was developed in collaboration with the University of California, Berkeley, to detect and locate natural gas and methane emissions leaks from undocumented and previously unknown natural gas wells in Northern California. The webinar offers opportunities to learn from ABB’s collective experience using drone- and laser-based technology for leak surveys.
