About Us
AEGIS
The Power of Protection
When the energy industry needs protection, they count on AEGIS. We are a member-owned mutual insurance company, built by the utilities we serve.
Together, we are more than insurance. We are industry leaders, sharing our knowledge and forging ahead with innovation.
The Strength of Mutuality
It is a shared experience – every day we rely on utilities. We all count on energy producers and utility companies to power our daily lives by keeping our schools open, our businesses running and our homes warm.
AEGIS members understand this connection. And it is why AEGIS was founded as a mutual company. Together we are stronger, sharing experiences and innovating for a brighter future.
Underwriting
We offer the products, expertise and insight to underwrite the unique risks inherent to the energy industry.
Claims
We partner with our members to manage claims and resolve them fairly and efficiently.
Loss Control
We support our members with on-site training and facility assessments aimed at increased safety.
